The OCD Course is our free online and internet-delivered treatment course designed for people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - that is, OCD. The OCD Course is designed to provide good information about OCD and to teach practical, proven, skills for reducing their symptoms and managing their OCD. We developed the OCD Course because OCD has a significant impact on peoples' lives but the symptoms often make it very difficult to seek treatment. People with OCD often also find it difficult to access effective, evidence-based, treatment that works. Online or internet-delivered treatment for OCD is one approach to overcoming some of the barriers people experience and provides access to effective treatment.

We are pleased to say that the OCD Course is available to people with OCD symptoms worldwide

Our Research Results

We have been developing the OCD Course since 2010 and have used significant amounts of participant feedback to revise and improve the course over this time. We have now had more than 300 people complete the OCD Course with very encouraging results.

More than 80% report the Course was 'worth their time' and that they would 'recommend the course'. Most also make very meaningful clinical improvements in their OCD symptoms. However, most participants say the course is hard work and takes time. So it is important for participants to take part in the course only when they have the time to learn about OCD and to try different ways of managing their OCD symptoms.

You can find out more about our research results by looking at our Research Page, HERE. There is a specific section on the OCD Course.

When is the Next Course Being Offered?

We are very pleased to be offering the OCD Course again. We will be starting new OCD Courses the first Monday of every month in 2020, 2021 and 2022. Participants need to be able to read and understand English - unfortunately, we are not able to provide the course in other languages at this point in time.

Participants will be participating in an important research trial which will help us to evaluate the OCD Course and improve it for others. You can read more in the Participant Information and Consent Form, click HERE.

The next OCD Courses will be starting on the 7th of September, 5th of October, 2nd of November and the 7th of December. People will be allocated to the next available course - so, please only apply if the next available course occurs at a suitable time for you.
